Ken Carpenter’s experience on a wide variety of film and video projects has provided a broad-based production background. As a Producer/Director, his career has spanned feature films, television, commercials, documentaries, branding videos, music videos, and more. His work has been awarded numerous film festival awards.

Carpenter recently produced Run the Race, a feature film starring Mykelti Williamson (Fences) that will be released theatrically in 2018. He also produced and directed Sweet Sweet Summertime for Echolight Studios/PureFlix. Carpenter also recently wrapped production on Distinction, a feature film shot in Franklin, TN. He has several other feature film projects in various stages of development.

Carpenter has produced and directed projects out of Franklin, TN for over 15 years since relocating there from Los Angeles with his wife and children.

    Get an inside look at the making of Run the Race, an exciting new feature slated for theatrical release in Fall 2018. Producer Ken Carpenter will walk through all major aspects of the film's development and production. Run the Race is also produced by Darren Moorman (Same Kind of Different as Me), directed by Chris Dowling (Where Hope Grows), filmed by Kris Kimlin (I Can Only Imagine), scored by Paul Mills (War Room), stars Mykelti Williamson (Fences), and is executive produced by Bill Reeves and Robby Tebow. This overview of the film will provide a rare look at the process of making a high profile faith-based feature film.
