Bob Scott’s career as a cinematographer has spanned the past twenty-five years – and the globe.  He started out as a documentary cameraman and has worked his way up to becoming one of the premiere sports & action cinematographers in the country. He has worked on major Hollywood feature films including the action film Lone Survivor, Cowboys & Aliens, Matt Damon’s Bourne Ultimatum, and with Billy Bob Thornton in Friday Night Lights.  Bob DP’ed  the action units for the films The Express and For the Money starring Al Pacino & Matthew McConaughey. In addition, he has worked on hundreds of national and international commercials, political campaign films, documentaries, music videos and sports films.

Twenty-five years ago Bob started shooting for NFL Films and has shot hundreds of football games on film – including fifteen Super Bowls and shows such as Hard Knocks. He has shot Rugby in the U.K., Cricket in the West Indies, Ping-Pong in China, and a "Bollywood" film in Thailand, as well as several World Series.  Bob has been a cinematographer at eleven Olympic Games, including Films for Bud Greenspan & The International Olympic Committee, and now shoots the Olympics for NBC Sports.

Bob has been blessed to mix his personal Christian faith with his profession – cinematography.  He was the director of photography on the Kendrick Brothers' last four films, Facing the Giants, Fireproof, Courageous, and their latest film War Room. Bob also travels to Haiti with New Missions, who operate over twenty-five schools and churches, and was there filming during the 2010 earthquake. He recently wrapped as the cinematographer on an Iraq war film called Indivisible.

New technologies like HD and digital capture have given cinematographers many new creative and technical options. However, Bob’s unique ability to capture the personal drama and spectacle of sports, action and dramatic films is what’s earned him Emmys and many accolades. It has become a passion and professional priority for Bob to work on projects that have significance and the potential to change hearts.
